At Ron’s Classic Cycle, we believe that everyone should have the joy of riding a bicycle. It’s fun, good clean exercise, good for the environment and teaches children good habits like safety and taking responsibility for an asset.
Cycling is an activity that can last a lifetime, from the time the training wheels first come off until a senior takes her trike to the grocery store.
I was raised in a rural area where farms were miles apart and if you didn’t have a bike, you didn’t have any friends. Likewise I had to learn to fix flat tires and bent rims and bearings.
I’ve brought this love of bicycles and the enjoyment of making something work better to my home business. Although I have repaired the bikes for my family and friends for many years, I think there is a need for my type of business for the general public. I hate to see a bicycle put out for garbage pickup because “It won’t shift right.” Or: “It’s only a cheap bike anyway.”

If you bought a bicycle at Wal Mart, Zellers or Canadian Tire, they are not interested in fixing it for you. Neither are the high end bicycle shops. I am interested in fixing and maintaining these bicycles (as well as the high end ones) and have the attitude that every kid should have a bike. I am confident that I can fix a ‘box store’ bike for much less than the cost of trashing it and buying a new one.
I also have experience riding and maintaining high end bicycles and would be glad to work with you to make yours last.
